Rain - is a good thing for your life

I heard an old song yesterday in which the words from this man's heart fed me wisdom. In this song, I could see that this man had been through something and through his struggle he gained a new found wisdom from The Holy Spirit.

A young man gained great fame and fortune quickly from something he created out of his heart and with this new gift came little things that needed his attention. But, he ignored them because he was blind sided by the fame and fortune.

Out of his neglect, those small things kept growing and grew strong into a steady stream of challenges that now demanded his attention - in which he was still unprepared. His overwhelming new challenges left him in a destitute state of mind - full of confusion and procrastination.

A lot of us find ourselves in this similar situation - in the rain. Yet, we do not understand why we never saw it coming. First, the clouds slowly moved over us but, we did not notice they grey skies because our focus was on what was in front of us. Second, we fill all of our time with our busy lives that lead us only to the bed exhausted. By not making time for consultation with God and a creating a plan, we are left exposed and do not know what to do.

The journey to greatness and success must take us through the valley of adversity in order to get to our destiny in life. Those who see with their hearts smile and embrace with gratitude the sunny days and the rains that come upon our lives because we know that our outcome we will result in a gain.

Our rains clearly are our pains and struggles in life but, those of us who can see with our hearts know its only the Mother of Change. She releases changes over our lives a little at a time so that the seeds of Joy and wisdom can grow in our lives.

When you find you and your family wet in the rain, hold each others hands, lift your heads up to the Lord. Dry clothes - by handling your adversities head on - get focused and stay focused. Sacrifice something meaningful to you and get get with God and hear his plan for your next move.  Be persistant in your efforts letting your faith in God and his word comfort and give strength until it gives birth to your success and satisfaction according to Gods will and Glory. Then give God all the praise and share your story with someone else in some way.

Do not become the shelter to your children. Let them feel the rain - because the rain is good for your life and theirs too. Share with them the obstacles being faced before the family and reassure them that the Lord will guide us through because we have faith in him to make it happen. Then when they see first hand the works of their creator and the promises he keeps, they will be drawn to him to seek more and God will be pleased with you and yours.  In Christ name I pray.  Amen...
