Work from home - selecting a career - employment

 With today's job market, and the new graduates that are ready to work - most find themselves with school loans becoming due and no work opportunities to be found.  So what is my advice for these young, knowledgeable, ready for the world people?  Well I just repete what President Barack Obama keeps saying - in between the lines of his speeches.  Start you own business!  Don't wait for a job or a place to call you - begin right now today to find a niche to start your own business.   

Work from home is some what of a misunderstood word today.  Most businesses that exsist today have a website and appear that they are working right off of the internet - in which they "really are" doing.  Bakeries are taking orders for cakes, Drycleaners even take emails for pick up of laundry from the internet.  Moving companies take reservations from online and the list can go on and on.  So where do you fit in?  Right there with the rest of them.  Do some research on how to start your own business online.

Now its not going to be easy for you to find the right niche but, what else can you do besides send hundreds of resumes out into the world and wait on a call? So, it is important to get on the web and do some researching for what is working on the web and how people are earning a living here.

The goal here first is to find a niche.  Products or services?  What about marketing for other companies who are already on the internet?  What about supplying vendors with discounted supplies to resell to consumers? Making a desent living is not hard - you just must be creative.  What about starting with selling your text books on Amazon?  There are tons of ideas that will work in today's market and economy.

After you find a niche that you are interested in doing then set up a website.  Everyone, every where has a website.  There are tons of free ones, one you can pay for, if you are resourceful, you may know someone who can help you buy building a hosting one for you.

The time to start doing this is now.  You may just discover that entreprenurship maybe the way for you after all?  Maybe you can be the competitor of the same company you applied for a job at - that you did not get?  You will never know unless you make an attempt to do something.  You and your parents paid good money to send you to college to make something of yourself so get busy and get focused on finding a way to earn a living on the Internet.

A good tip to use as a gage is the Better Business Bureau on the Internet.  They list businesses that are in "good standing" with them - you can use this information to your advantage - check them out and if you find something you like, contact them and let them know what you can do for them or better yet, duplicate their product/service.  Lower the cost or make it easier for the consumer to use you than their service.  Whatever you decide, I say, get started - making a descent living today is not difficult for the young creative mind today, you just have to use some of your God given creativity.
